Overheating Analysis
Retrospective Assessments and Solutions

  • Retrospective Assessments

For buildings that already suffer from overheating problems, a thermal simulation is the first step to remediation.

A thermal simulation can be used to simulate the existing status of the building, factoring in the actual construction specifications and user behaviour.

Once established, solutions can be investigated within the IES virtual environment and various options tested for performance against cost.

Greenlite Energy Assessors are able to advise upon remedial solutions, including such details as modifications to building fabric, HVAC systems, or simply changes in user behaviour, in order to achieve suitable internal temperatures.
